European Championship in Poland & Ukraine 2012 ?

Polish FA (PZPN) and its chairman Michal Listkiewicz are going to send to the UEFA an official proposal for organising of European Championship in Poland and Ukraine in 2012. Listkiewicz is also sure that Polish Government will back up his idea and promised a fully support in organising this event. Apart from Polish and Ukraine, the other countries are interested in organising EC 2012: Italy, Greece, Russia, Romania, Hungary & Croatia, Scotland and Ireland.

Polish international at Celtic Glasgow ?

Polish talented Marcin Burkhardt (KS Amica Wronki) is going to join Celtic Glasgow. He didn’t go with the rest of Amica's players to Turkey tournament but went to Scotland, at Glasgow, to pass the medical tests and to discuss the contract's rules. Marcin Burkhardt was born on 25 September 1983 at Elblag, has 184 cm and 68 kg, and he is playing as central offensive midfield. He has a good vision, is a great provider, has technically very good, and is left footed. He played 6 matches at national team, and scored one goal, now being called by Janas for the friendly match against Belarus from February. Burkhardt debuted in season 1999-2000 at Olimpia Poznan, and from season 2000-2001 transfered at KS Amica Wronki, having now 70 matches and 6 goals. In first part of Ekstraklasa, this season, Burkhardt played in 11 rounds, scoring one goal (1-0 against Gornik Leczna in round 11). His contract with KS Amica expires theoretical on July 2006.
