The coach of national team of Romania, Victor Piţurcă, has announced today the names of the 12 players from Divizia A, convoked for the friendly match against Slovakia from Wednesday, 9 February, kick-off 17:00, on stadium "GSZ" from Larnaca. The players called by Piţurcă are: Bogdan Stelea (Dinamo Bucureşti), Marius Popa (FCU Politehnica Timişoara) - goalkeepers; Valentin Bădoi, Flavius Moldovan (both Rapid Bucureşti), Mirel Rădoi (Steaua Bucureşti) - defenders; Florentin Petre (Dinamo Bucureşti), Tiberiu Bălan (Sportul Studenţesc Bucureşti), Mihăiţă Pleşan (Universitatea Craiova), Dorinel Munteanu (Steaua Bucureşti) - midfields; Daniel Niculae (Rapid Bucureşti), Daniel Opriţa (Steaua Bucureşti) and Gigel Bucur (Sportul Studenţesc Bucureşti) - strikers. So, in Cyprus will make the departure 20 players, the foreign players being called by Piţurcă last week: Tiberiu Ghioane (Dinamo Kyiv), Valentin Năstase (FC Bologna), Adrian Iencsi (Spartak Moskva), Răzvan Raţ (Shakhtar Donetsk), Daniel Pancu (Beşiktaş Istanbul), Constantin Gâlcă (Almeria CF), Nicolae Mitea (Ajax Amsterdam) and Adrian Ilie (FC Zürich).
